Easy to use and much healthier for you!
We eat a lot of popcorn in our house and buying the popcorn in bags is not the healthiest. I bought this as a Christmas present to make healthier popcorn at home and I’m happy I did. It’s very easy to use cleans up well and perfectly portion sized.

Awesome, healthier Option
Want the convenience and easy cleanup of microwave popcorn, but without the unhealthy chemical byproducts of the microwave bags? Want more control over fat content of your popcorn? Want to pop with higher quality ingredients? This is the device for you. Does great in the dishwasher, lets me personalize my popcorn flavor and serving size. My 11 year old loves it..

Decent item, not sure if this was the one for me.
First of all I do really like the handle on it making it easy to use as well as the cover that has a measure line for the kernels. That being said I might be overfilling it a little because often times it just ends up kind of stuck in the pot and I have to fight to get it loose again. It also seems to "steam" them a bit, there's a slightly different texture to them at first but the chew goes away pretty quickly and becomes a solid crunch again. Wish I'd bought the bigger one honestly. Ended up switching to an air-popper but I"m thinking of giving this away. The butter applying thing didn't really seem that useful honestly. I tried it out and the butter flavor wasn't very noticeable, so I worry about the amount of butter it expects us to put in there. Maybe a different brand of butter would work better but when I tried it once or twice it didn't do much.

A Popcorn Lover's Delight
I recently invested in a microwave popcorn popper, and it has completely transformed my popcorn game. This ingenious device offers a hassle-free and eco-friendly way to enjoy a favorite snack. The popper is incredibly easy to use – just add kernels, place it in the microwave, and within minutes, you have a bowl of perfectly popped popcorn, free from additives and excess oil.The silicone material is not only durable but also collapsible for convenient storage. Its heat-resistant design ensures safe handling, and the lid doubles as a popcorn bowl. I appreciate the cost-effectiveness and reduced environmental impact of using loose kernels compared to pre-packaged microwave popcorn. This microwave popcorn popper has become a kitchen essential, delivering consistently delicious results with minimal effort and waste. It's a game-changer for popcorn enthusiasts seeking a healthier and more sustainable snacking option.

How To Get Good Popcorn
First of all Popcorn is a whole grain and a good source of fiber and low in calories as a snack. I used to get the bags for the microwave and then started to read the ingredients, where the kernels where from and was appalled so started to look for healthy alternatives. First bought nongmo organic popcorn and used a pot on the stove to pop it and it didn't turn out so well. Then found this glass popper for the microwave which is essentially like using the popcorn bags but now controlling the type of popcorn that I can use. Buy nongmo organic bags of popcorn kernels. I'm super happy with this popper but let me give you some tips for success.1. Do not add butter to the top of the cover as it will end up burning anyway before all the kernels are finished popping and taste bad. Add it after.2. Add fewer kernels than you think maybe half the top measure otherwise you will get burnt kernels before the last ones are popped. If you need more just do two sessions.3. Use the high power on the microwave for 3 minutes. Place the popper in the dead center of the microwave tray, not rotating around the edge. That's very important. You will then get the kernels popping the fastest and get a good batch. As soon as you hear the first 3 second lag of popping hit the stop button if there's too much time left. Be prepared to expect that some kernels may not be popped. Discard them as they are not reusable but hopefully you get better at guaging the pop level. Popping too long will result in yucky burned popcorn making good popcorn smell and taste bad so better to sacrifice some unpopped kernels for better popcorn.4. Although I've given you advice it may take a few sessions to get good at it so don't give up. I like the fact that the popcorn is being popped in a glass popper, not fried in a pot, not popped in a bag with who knows what chemicals are in it.5. Enjoy.

Good but there are better options out there
I was hoping this would solve my problem of having to evenly pour melted butter over my popcorn after it's popped by having the butter melt as the popcorn is popping, but I think it might be causing the popcorn not to pop as evenly. If I only put a little in the lid then it does seem to pop more of the kernels, but I'm still getting unpopped kernels with burnt pieces. Maybe I haven't found the right ratio, but with it's only popping 1/2 to 2/3 of the kernels which is a waste to keep trying. It's also much smaller than I expected, which I'm fine with if I'm making popcorn just for myself. If I'm making larger batches I still go back to my silicone bowl with lid. I do like that I can pop it into the dishwasher for easy cleaning, that has been a plus side, but more than likely I'll be giving it away.

Great popcorn
This lil guy makes really good popcorn, it makes a little at a time but worth the extra time to make a few batches. I add coconut oil with the kernels and adjusted my time , no more burnt popcorn and it's crispy good. Took a few trials to get the time right but I love this thing. Easy breezy

Healthy snacks made easy
My kids and I love popcorn but I am not comfortable with them popping it on the stove and I hate all the packaging and gross stuff in microwave popcorn. This popcorn maker is just as fast as microwave popcorn. We have used both the fancy Amish popcorn kernels and cheap supermarket kernels. We are very happy with the results and the popcorn maker is easy to clean.

Won’t be buying microwave bagged popcorn again
Just love this. For one thing it is cute. Easy to use. Like that you can put a bit of butter at top, but you don’t need any butter or oil to cook. First I thought wouldn’t make much popcorn with the amount it says to put in. But makes plenty. Like that you can eat straight out of container. It takes 3 minutes in my microwave. Every kernel pops.

Do not buy this popper — you will not be able to stop eating popcorn once you try it!
Buying this popper was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. I've consumed ungodly amounts of buttered popcorn since buying this accursed product. In fact, I bought a massive bottle of popcorn kernels last night, and I've gone through ~15% of it in one day alone. Heed my warning and stay away from this product if you can: your waistline will thank you.If you decide to buy this anyway, know that it is disgustingly easy to use. You add the kernels, you add the butter, you wait for a few minutes, and it comes out perfectly every time with no burnt popcorn and very few unpopped kernels. The instruction manual is fantastic, and the popper seems well-made.

Perfect popper
I highly recommend this popper! I decided to get this when my air popper started to smell funny. It's a great single-size serving. Works perfectly, just as described. Great gift item for popcorn lovers. It would be great for someone who likes to have popcorn at work because it's so convenient. Also works great for anyone working on managing portion control. I used to fill the air popper to the "max" line and consider that a single serving. The only issue is that water gets in between the plastic and the glass when you wash it so be careful if you're washing it with really dirty dishes or just leaving it in the sink and tossing other gross dishes in.
