Great But Thin
These are great I lingual Spanish and English flashcards however they are a bit thin. Be prepared to laminate them. I highly suggest using five ML for laminating. Other than that I highly recommend this especially this particular version. I looked into and researched all the versions that school zone has available for bilingual Spanish to English and these were ideal because they have the colors with means in front of them. As for the shapes and other items I like that tea Print is on the back and the picture in the front because I can always add the printIn the front with the sticky note and then when it comes time two doing informal diagnostic I could just remove the sticky note. Also because there is no hoarding in front I could use these for other things such as alphabet letter circle maps.

Good quality
These are great quality and my 2 year old loves to go through them. They are sturdy enough for a toddler to be around and very educational.

decent set especially when used with others out there
This set of 54 cards covers several topics -- numbers, colors, objects, directions, shapes and animals. Because this set covers quite a few topics, nothing is covered with a lot of depth. For instance, numbers are only covered up to 9 and only six shapes and eight colors are presented. This may, however, be perfectly sufficient for the age of your learner. There are a lot of flash card sets available on Amazon. Frequently, they duplicate topics and that is no exception with this set. FlashKids has a set called "Listo para la Escuela" that cover shapes, colors, animals, numbers and letters. Another set "Colors and Shapes" by Brighter Child is heavily focused on colors and another set, again by FlashKids, covers animals and fruit in conjunction with the alphabet and is called "Alphabet". So depending on what you want your learner to study, a parent or teacher can create a fairly comprehensive set. This set does have some unique aspects. I found it covered some words that are fairly unusual for a beginner's flash card set. For example, the flash cards have the words dragon, nest, bone and plane covered. These are all items that a child would likely see in a children's story book or the world around them. Most card manufacturing companies include a card on how the set can ideally be used. This set does that but with a little more guidance. For example, a special card is provided that asks the parent/teacher and child to identify rhyming words in the deck and then proceeds to cite them all so the teacher/parent can help the child find the toro that rhymes with zorro or the pato that rhymes with gato. There are six rhyming sets in the deck. Another exercise is to match items that go together. For example, match the perro with the hueso or the flor with the abeja. There are six sets of items that go together in this deck. I have also never seen directions (left, right, up and down) covered in a flash card set.An element that may be undesirable is that the cards frequently provide a Spanish word and then place the English word on the same side of the card -- not on the opposite side of the card. This could be limiting for teachers and parents who wish to teach a Spanish word and then flip the card to the English equivalent. This card set is not unique in this feature. FlashKids does this with all of their cards. While it is possible to cover the word you don't want presented with your hand, it would have been much more convenient if the manufacturer had just placed Spanish on one side and English on the other. The cards are of decent quality and could take some minor abuse from young learners. I think the FlashKids sets are a little more durable, however. This set covers a lot of topics and incorporates some unique vocabulary that I have not seen covered elsewhere. I think the product is fairly well-made especially in relation to the price. I would recommend the product. These cards are printed in the United States.

Great for non-English speakers!
I am using this as a learning tool for 2 school age kids who have extremely limited English. We are using these in a manner of Around The World, which was a favorite of mine in grade school! The kids love the clear and bright designs, and I love the variety of colors, shapes, and things depicted. The cards seem durable, with a nice coating.

Early learning
I love these! My baby is now five months and I started showing him these at three months and now he gets excited and is very focused when I show him these and his other flash cards. No regrets. Start learning to read and other languages early and they will appreciate it as they get older.
