This "book" was a joke. I thought I was buying a book, but it is a pamphlet. The information was nothing more than what can be found with a quick search online or simply answered with common sense. How to learn about building a house? Do research online, read magazines, talk to people who have already built a home. THAT was the kind of useless advice in the "book". It was a waste of money, and the only reason I didn't send it back was because it made my husband laugh so much. He's convinced someone wrote a computer code to write this pamphlet. The cover image is badly photoshopped and fits perfectly with the entire charade of the publication. A fast one was definitely pulled here.

The information contained in this article lacks in specifics. It doesn't provide real, how to, do it yourself lists, diagrams, schematics, material, how to fasten to continer, what type of fasteners are needed and so on...

I downloaded this because I was hoping it would have information about structurall integrity and more explicit instructions on what and how to reinforce when cutting sections out of a container. There was one paragraph which is most likely incorrect when compared to information I have gathered from other places, including engineers. All the information here can be found online for free.

I bought this book for $0.99 and really can't complain. I'm doing cursory research into alternative/affordable ways to build a home and this was a serviceable overview and introduction to shipping container homes. It's certainly not an extensive how-to, so if you already know the basics and you're looking for a manual, then you'll be disappointed. If you want to learn a little more about the options available to you and answer some exploratory questions like me then you'll get that. For the dollar I paid, it's OK.

This book covers details from the materials used to the contractors and permits, not forgetting building steps and design styles. I especially liked the home sample plans and the environmentally friendly tips!

I'm embarrassed that the author is trying to pass this glorified leaflet with ~2black and white pictures, large text, and floor plans so grainy that you can't even read the specs, off as a "book." This is like a printed Wikipedia article. Super disappointed.

All of the positive feedback of this "book" is fake and intended to make this look relevant. Do not be fooled, this is a pamphlet and nothing more - no photos, no plans, no relevant information.

I expected a book, but got a pamphlet, with a spine less that 3mm and just larger than A5, and very large print this a waste of paper and money.26 pages took 4 mins from cover to cover.Not worth the time or effort, the suggestions are generic and worthless, and non country specific
