The book itself is awesome. My 5 yr old but knows EVERYTHING the other space books have to offer. This was all knew and exactly what we were looking for. It's written more towards 8-10yr old so he asks what a word means very often but hey he is learning new words and he's intrigue.Only bummer...it was intended to be a gift for someone else. It arrived all bent up as it was sent in a paper envelope. I could not gift it and had to buy another gift.***Updated: excellent customer service. I received a full refund. Mistakes happen but they made it right.

Its a little tough one for a 5.5 yr old to understand it..but would be a perfect read for 6.5-7yr olds :)
