Very effective
Got this to use on daughters trainers to stick down some strap Velcro on the shoe side, held up really well until she outgrew the shoes. Used it again to seal a a hole in the sole of my trainers and to stick the sole back to the trainer where it had come loose at the front. Did the job perfectly. Would buy this again when I need to repair footwear. I can see it coming in handy when I need to stick anything that needs flexible adhesion. Or if I need to repair small holes to make something water tight.

Great and works really well
Really good. Glued new sole to my trainers and it’s worked really really well.

Sealed my sandals very well
Very pleased. I used the glue on my sandals to join the inner shell to the outer one in a couple of places. It stuck well and could have been worn the following day. After 24 hours it was fully stuck. I’ve worn them several times since with no problems

Amazing product! Adds months of life to your shoes.
Bought this product when my most comfortable shoes sole started to wear.Unfortunately it was wearing due to poor design of the shoe as the sole was made mostly of foam then some rubber in the front and back. Unfortunately for me, my feet are weird and the shoes were wearing just behind the front rubber of the sole.Thankfully this product works miracles, I was able to use the product and DOES BOND TO THE FOAM (hard sole foam, not soft spongy foam). This was my main worry as it didn’t state in the description. Thankfully it added months of life to a dying shoe, unfortunately the product does wear so reapplying may be necessary after a while. But by this point the shoe may show other signs of wear that are harder to mend.

Doesn't last
I had heard good and negative reports about shoe goo, so I thought lets try it. After gluing my trainer sole and leaving it for 24 hours, it seemed to work, the results where very good, however 5 days on, the glue is not holding up and the sole coming apart again. Its always good to try these things your self, when getting mixed reviews. My personal opinion is, I would not buy again, it may be a very quick fix but it doesn't last. There are better quality products out there but for the money its ok to keep in the back of your drawer as a back up, I would class this glue as a 'temporary fix'.

Great for repairing bike tyres
I saw youtube hack in America where they use this to repair tubeless mountain bike tyres from the inside.First plug the tyre and when home remove the tyre, if are running tubeless remove the sealant around the plug put the shoe goo around plug , however, curing process will take about 24 hours. Also put little bit on the outside. This gives a perfect seal , i have not hand one issue asy et.

Don’t waste your time, absolutely useless.
Cleaned and dried the split in the sole, glued it and clamped it for a week to cure. It fell apart within 5 miles! Absolute rusbbish.

I’m depending on this!
As I always do, I did a lot of research before buying this and I took the chance that most people were saying that this is good stuff ( maybe the only stuff) to breathe new life into split shoe soles. It’s glue and it’s not cheap! I’ve managed to repair three pairs of shoes with split soles with one tube. They range from Doc Martins to cheaper brands. It’s easy to use but please, please follow the instructions - particularly cleaning the area thoroughly with alcohol (isopropyl alcohol not Asda vodka) then spritzing there area (fine, light spray) with water before putting the goo deeply into the split. Seperate and then reapply. Leave in a horizontal position for 3-4 hours and then add further coats as required (old credit cards make great spreaders). When filled, smoothed and well covered, leave the shoes alone for 2-3 DAYS before wearing. Take off any blobs or runs with a very sharp knife or scalpel. I can’t, as yet, comment on the longevity of the repairs but, at the moment, it looks very promising. If they last, I’ll buy more Goo. If they fail, then it’s an expensive lesson learned but I will know that I gave it my best shot. Here’s hoping!
