Not recommend, it's not working with most cars
Its worse choice buying this, the device not working with moat cars, always says error linking, i try to to contact Autel support center but they did not answer, they have poor customer service. THIS DEVICE DO NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR AS THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS TOO POOR.

Doesn't work on my pathfinder R50 2001 I don't know why. I tried to communicate with Autel but no response. Waste of money.update:Tried to login to the website and make a profile ,all in vain.the serial number is wrong(is the device fake?) cant download anything..looks scam to me to let you buy the device then leave you.

Easy to use and very helpful code diagnosis.
Straight off the bat it told me why the service required light came on. Connect that with the ever useful YouTube and nearly £150 pounds saved on a 1 hour job that just required the tool I already had. Sorry to my garage mechanic......If your the kind of person who likes to do a few easy jobs or just like to know what you're actually paying for at the garage. this gadget is great. Buying a second hand car? Take it for a test drive and quickly test for any codes that warn you of any potential hick-ups you might of had to pay for.the only reason I give 4**** is I could not register the device on the website, nothing really bad, just slightly annoying.

A cheap £30 OBD unit does everything this can do - returned.
Only covers very basic engine fault codes. It does not cover ABS, SRS, EVAP, Convenience Module, Climate, Immobiliser, Coding, Keys etc and no Bi-directional actuation testing and cannot reset modules or service light. If you want anything useful you need to spend well over double this and one that is capable of reading manufacturer specific codes not just OBD standard.

Basically a plug and play code reader.
Good code reader feels solid and substantial. Doesn't need a power source, and turns on as soon as plugged into the OBD port. Picks up codes quickly and accurately, although the descriptions can be a bit off and you'll need to check online to confirm the codes. Good live data function as well. Comes in a handy bag to store away in.

It’s ok
Not great for a lot of re setting functions, it’s ok for small stuff but not great for complex or deep access to the ecu.If you’re looking for a tool that goes deep into functions or specific model car then probably better to spend more and get the one you need rather than a generic

Doesn't do much
Barely does anything. Most vehicles I've tried it on it fails to recognise - Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Nissan, Toyota etc etcEasy to use - plug it in, fails to connect or recognise, unplug it.
