the QuikFinder uses a Maxell CR2032 H 3V battery.

How does the baseplates attach to a given OTA?

Either double stick tape or small screws. I have a wood do and have it attached with screws. I can pop it off and put it on my 80mm refractor, as I bought a spare base.

Where is a good place to mount this om a meade infinity 102mm refractor? I was originally going to buy the telrad but it just looks too big. Thanks!

I mounted mine on my Meade ex seri s scope. Wish I could send a photo. It is on the top of the main tube just infront of the eyepiece. In looking at photos of your scope, near where the stock view finder is. I don't even use the stock finderscope any more. I remove them and put a Telrad or Rigel finder in place.Hope this helps.Joe
