My (type 1) hair is bleached and coloured with semi permanent dye, and I wanted to be sure to minimise potential damage done by cotton pillow cases. I tried satin pillow cases, but sensory-wise I didn't like them - it's too slippery and feels weird on my face.These bonnets are fine. They're single layered, so best for best results turn them inside out so that the smoothest side is what your hair rests on.The band itself is made of a different stretchy material. It's nice and wide so it doesn't cut into skin or leave a mark on my forehead. BUT the bands are also fairly tight. I have a small head, so they fit me (though the sensory experience is also something to get used to - I'm getting there!), but if you have a larger than average head, you might feel the pressure more.So for the sizing and the single layer, 4/5 stars

The material is super thin and not very silky, which almost defeats the point. They are a good size and comfortable but the actual bonnet feels quite cheap

Buy this red satin bonnet and your entire pillow will be covered in red by the time you wake up.I'm so tired of paying more and more money for these cheaply thrown-together goods online. Finding quality products online is so exhausting, as one cheap product after the other is marked up and sold to the trusting consumer.I'm wasting money because I have to come RIGHT BACK again and research a better set of bonnets that won't stain my pillows!!!So exhausting.Zero stars: again.
