Cake was good. I ordered for my Mom and she liked it. The cake is dry in texture and not that rich soaked plum. But still its there and its fine. If one who likes a bit dry and bit of rum taste, it's a go buy thing.

I have got cakes from Smoor before. The online one is dry. The tin is same.

Okay plum cake needs to be more moist and hardly any ginger and orange peels.....just loaded with raisins ( quite cheap) some cashews.

Plum cake to it's best, soft and loaded with flavours, but that richness is missing somewhat, authentic Christmas experience is missing but good taste.

Even though I like Smoor cakes, this christmas plum cake was a big dissapointment. Watch out how dry and tasteless it is. Order a smaller one and experiment it.
