Cleans and reduces pore size

I've used Aveda products before, but mostly for my hair. I had purchased the toning mist maybe 10 years ago, and now I'm using the whole skincare line. A few months ago I began getting ingrown hairs in my beard region. As soon as one went away, another one appeared. Well this Exfoliant liquid cleared me right up! Since I began using it I have had a total of ZERO ingrown hairs. After the gel cleanser, I apply a generous amount of the exfoliant on a cotton ball and apply it to my whole face, making sure to cover my beard area a few times. Love the smell, and it works great!

I love this product. I was turned onto it at an Aveda Spa. When winter-peels start hitting the nose, you want the peel to disappear without ripping off skin or looking like a desiccated mummy. This is the only product I have found that has gently exfoliated peeling skin AND random winter blackheads. And it has helped with irritation break-outs. All without drying out the skin - just keep using your basic facial lotion.I highly recommend this product and will continue purchasing it - it actually works amazingly well.

I must be careful when using beads on my skin as they are too rough for my hyper sensitive skin, yet Aveda's Exfoliant is a gentle liquid that works will with gauze to conserve product or cotton, if that's what you have on hand. I will never go back to a bead Exfoliant after using this.

Good exfoliating toner.

This is labeled as an exfoliator..it does work like a toner too-taking excess make up off that the cleanser couldn't reach. Exfolation is not visible, but i guess it has an ingredient in it to allow them to label as so. I still use a scrub wash once in a while in addition. It is nice to use after cleansing, and doesn't break my skin out like other toners. It is so gentle and smells good. This entire set is so expensive. I think next time i will just purchase the cleanser and this and skip the facial spray.. but this one is a must.

Aveda exfoliate is really good to thoroughly cleanse your pores.
