A fun, sometimes challenging build
So I bought this for my nephew two years ago and he never did it. I love doing Lego cars so I asked if I could. It was a fun and challenging build. It took a total of about 20 hours. One thing I really love about the Technic sets is how you get to build a working differential, steering linkage and best of all you get to watch the pistons in the engine move. Definitely a great buy for any Lego lover, but maybe not for the beginner. It takes time, but these builds are always rewarding.

Hours of fun and challenging!
We bought a lot of advanced Lego kits over the past two years (lots of time spent indoors, at home). Found the Ferrari kit online, it looked like a challenge and it was. Lots of fun and it feels like a significant achievement when completed. It was a little expensive, but worth it. The final, completed Lego model is beautiful. The instruction guide contained a lot of additional info about Ferrari - a good read.

Good midrange Technic set
I consider this to be a midrange set. There is no gearbox to build, so its slightly easier for younger builders. It's a pretty large set (see picture in comparison to the Bugatti Chiron set). Overall, it was a fun build even if it wasn't as challenging as other sets. The wheels seemed to sit a little high above the fenders more like an offroad vehicle than a race car due to the suspension springs, but that's just a nitpick. The only downside is the sheer amount of stickers. Full disclosure, I don't like Lego stickers. For a few dollars more, I would recommend the Lego Land Rover Defender instead as it was more challenging, has less stickers, and has better functionality.
