This is sturdy plastic w/a Cover that has a opening to pour in liquids & snap shut. I wish they did not send random colors. I prefer to.pick bc I always get a color I don't want. I got lime green, of course instead of blue or purple, which I would have preferred. That is the only downside.

These ice cube trays are a pleasure to use. I love the way they stack to save room in the freezer. Some complain that they are hard to release the ice once frozen. All that is necessary is to turn the tray over and run some warm water to release them easily. It’s not rocket science folks!! The size is much larger than the usual trays. Therefore, the cubes are larger and last longer in a drink. Living in Fl, we usually have iced coffee with breakfast. These cubes don’t disappear immediately like the normal-sized ones do. I highly recommend these trays.

A broke in half after one use. Sad because the size was nice. I would not buy again.

I thought I would get four,I got one. I thought it would be silicone,it is hard plastic. WHAT I DID LIKE: EASY TO FILL WITH LID ON.Has a lid,big cubes!! Still glad I bought it!!

I like the fill from the top feature. You only get one.

I’m giving it a low star because after a few uses they break the whole tray breaks and I’m not made of money so this will be the last set I buy

I bought this to freeze eggs to use later in cooking and baking. Each section holds a large or XL egg.

Very disappointed that Joie has apparently switched to much cheaper materials, rendering their trays far more susceptible to breaking. I have one from around 2016 and have never had any issue with gently twisting it to release frozen cubes, but the new one I got in Oct 2024? Sadly it's no longer in one piece and I'm not surprised, since it doesn't (didn't) feel the same as the older one.Yes, you could avoid twisting by running the tray bottom under warm water for a moment... but it shouldn't be necessary to create a mess if you're only trying to get one or two ice cubes (and let's be fair here, you either have to take the time to dry the tray before putting it back in your freezer, or you're making a bit of a mess). Very disappointed that they changed a really excellent product into a not-so-great one.
