Why does the allergen information say "gelatin" when gelatin is not listed as an ingredient on the bottle?

Hi New York! I reached out to the manufacturer and here is their reply:

Each capsule contains 500 mg of Mastic Extract, created from Mastic Resin sourced from the Mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus).  Mastic / Mastic Resin is the English common name of the sap or resin that comes from the tree.  It is also sometimes called Yemen Gum and Arabic Gum (not to be confused with Gum Arabic, another very common food additive).  In Greece, it is called Tears of Chios, after the Greek island of Chios where the tree grows, and because the resin drips out of the tree and hangs, resembling a crystalline teardrop. Mastic trees also grow and in parts of Turkey.
 
Solaray Mastic Extract is created through an ethanol extraction process of wildcrafted, sustainably harvested Mastic Resin from Greece and Turkey.  Through the extraction process, the Mastic Acids and Masticoresin are concentrated such that each 2 capsule serving (1g extract) provides 35% or 350mg of Mastic Acids and Masticoresin.
