Now these… BUY THEM, definitely worth the money if you’re clambering over icy terrain, people walking by couldn’t take their eyes off them, as if they needed a pair themselves, very well made, L size managed to fit on my size 11 walking boots! sturdy, didn’t see any damage to the spikes after an 11 mile hike

Brilliant. Large is the limit for a UK walking boot.
Sizing is the problem with buying these things. Everyone quotes "US sizes"...how helpful.I can only help with L is the top end of a UK 10.The crampons are brilliant.I have a spinal disease which means I am in a world of trouble on ice and compacted snow.Fit them carefully, you can do this with the boot off (probably not with a shoe) and then leave them on till.the thaw.100% confidence on all frozen surfaces.Note: if you wander about in surfaces which do not have a layer of ice or snow they will be scratched and gouged. Don't do that.

Confidence on ice and snow
First day, bliss. Able to walk with confidence and safety on ice and snow. Showed many passers-by who were slipping and sliding. Second day, the metallic bar on one boot had come adrift and caught on the other boot. So when I tried to go down my front door steps, my feet were effectively tied together and I took quite a fall. Husband repaired cleats with pliers. Something to check before use.

These are really easy to use and excellent quality. Wouldn't be without them in snow and ice.

These fit ladies hiking boot size 7
They look OK but since the snow and ice melted there is no way yet to test them.Amazon insists on a review but that can only happen if and when we are snowed in again.Since the week commencing 10th December 2022 weather has changed.
