Q: What height is best for cats? The photo reviews look like 4in but that seems low to me. 7in seems high but I have a senior cat with arthritis.

We also have an old female Siamese and this dish is perfect for her. It is more natural for a cat to swallow with their head and neck in alignment. I love this feeder. It has 4 stainless bowls 2 that stack on each side and one is deeper than the other. We use the one on top. Hope this helps you decide.

Q: Are the bowls dishwasher safe?

I have not used the dishwasher on this. I wash them by hand. I am not sure about the striping on the bowl. The bowls are easy to clean by hand.

Q: Do they sell the bowls separately? Seems my dog works better with the 2in deep bowl and want to get another one.

I also want to get extra bowls. They should sell bowls separately.
