AK-Polyfibers™ 3D Cell Culture are Akron Biotech's new 3D cell culture scaffolds made from electrospun polymeric nanofibers. Make your cells in culture feel right at home by giving them a substrate that closely resembles the mechanical and physical features of natural ECM. Benefits: Add the third dimension to your cell culture Create a more natural environment for your cells Controlled cell expanison and differentiation Allows easy removal of cells for assays and gene expression. Standard material for the fibers is Polycaprolactone (PCL), available in reagent grade or cGMP grade. AK-Polyfibers™is available in well inserts for 6, 12, 24, with other sizes and shapes available upon request.
