Is this appropriate for a child just turning 5?

Unless the child is a very quick learner and ahead of the class, I would recommend you look at Ocean Raiders - the addition game. This is an easier game and more appropriate for kids turning 5. My kiddo is struggling to master counting backwards from "higher" numbers ( 12 and up). Does this help with counting down from at least 20?
