As you can see by the picture, the pieces seems sturdy and ready for handling by pre-schoolers. The picture is quite deceiving. The quality is very poor. I will be returning this item. There is no excuse for this type of deception. This was a waste of my time, as a teacher. I ordered the puzzle to expand our curriculum on community helpers; needless to say, we could not use it. Our group range in ages 2.5 - 5. The quality was so poor that the pieces was bending just trying to take them apart to prepare them for classroom use. The picture displays pieces that seems to be made of thick cardboard stock, the edges are turned up to display thickness. This is the deceptive part. The cameral must have magnified the edges. The pieces are much thinner than what is displayed. Do not be fooled like I was.I did not put them out. If this is the type of deception this company practice i will not trust myself to order from them again. My time is valuable.

I am an SLP working with students of varying developmental delays in grades K-3. I thought the items they chose to link to the community helpers were not the most salient item to use, especially when trying to teach young children about these people in our community. For example, a doctor is matched with a prescription pad. What child makes that connection with doctors?! A stethoscope or eye, ear and mouth light may have been more relevant. I would be cautious in buying this product. It is very limited in regards to connections that are actually appropriate and useful for young school-aged children.

Perfect for my special needs students. They are durable and they withstand abuse without damage. They can also be wiped down with a very slightly moist cloth (such as a slightly dried clorox wipe) Nice pictures of basic concepts for small children or students with at least preschool cognitive functioning.

Wonderful educational product. Self correcting and printed on both sides.I have several of these for different subjects....numbers, letters, etc.
