There are no instructions included with product. It basically just didn't work for me. No amount of strength would close these pliers. I kept playing with them and found if I stuck my fingers in a really inconvenient place and pulled, I could then close the pliers, if it didn't jump back and lock them open again. On the lever that doesn't have the really big spring, there is a small spring loaded lever that has no apparent use or function. This leads me to believe either something is missing or something is broken. Not sure which. Poorly packaged and boxed, which would be Amazon near as I can tell. Sending back for replacement if possible, money back if not. But I just don't know for sure if they are defective or just plain junk.

I like the feature of automatic pressure adjustment without having to change the pressure every time you have to clamp something of a different thickness than the one you did previously. But, it is a little cumbersome to pull the handles together as you are clamping. The can be far enough apart that you have to use two hands to bring them together. This may only be an issue on the 6" clamps and not the 3" clamps, I'm not sure.

This auto adjust clamp is like having an extra set of hands in the shop or garage. Instead of tinkering with an adjustment knob or lever while trying to hold something in place, just put this clamp on whatever your holding and clamp down. It has a screw to adjust the clamping pressure. Set that once to your liking then start clamping away. Plus, it has about 5” of reach which comes in handy a lot. Also, it has removable jaw pads in case you are clamping down on some soft wood or anything you don’t want to leave marks on.

Game changer. I went from using f clamps to these and Evey little task is sped up exponentially. It's surprising what you can get done when you can just keep rolling without losing time unclamping and reclamping. The clamp is also awesome becasue the pad prevent maring the work but they can also be removed for holding smaller peices. It really is multipourpose!Just watch you fingers, it is strong!!
