Perfect for what i needed
the connecting cord that came with my New 3.2 USB Hub was shorter than i expected so i had to buy this one because of the way i positioned the USB Hub. not a fault of the manufacturer of the hub, how were they to know i needed 6 more inches of cord?? this is working quite well, is well build and flexible. definite recommend !!!

Very good quality
Does a good job, it has a 5gb gb transfer rate. I have a 3.0 usb hub attached to my computer, and no problems.

Good product - glad it still exists - perfect for anyone who still uses the older drives
This is a review for the USB C to USB 3.0 B Cable. Excellent product - the cable is durable and this is a good price. I am happy these cables still exist for those of us who work in project studios and cannot just upgrade all the pieces of our workflow at once.I have the older style drives with the USB B-type ports and this fit the bill. If only they made USB to Firewire cables in 400 and 800 type 8 years ago; but anyways... great item... cheers to this seller and manufacturer.

Worked as expected.
Used for OWC HD that has dropping offline problem. This cable seems to help but unfortunately the problem still happens occasionally. Googling around many people have this drop-off problem. This cable was mentioned asat least being better.

USB 3.1 Gen2, 4 Feet Cable
Pros:–Length I wanted at a reasonable price–USB connectors on both ends feel snug–Seller quickly and honestly responded to my community question about whether the cable is USB-IF certified and does it fully comply with USB 3.1 Gen2 10Gbps data transfer specs. They said yes, package label shows Gen2 (see attachment). I asked because product is stamped “CableCreation” without any standard USB logo such as SS or SS+10.–Primarily using this with a WavLink docking station, original cable is USB 3.1, Gen 1, wanted to upgrade to Gen2 with Type C connector and free up the USB 3.1, Gen 2 Type A motherboard port for use with other hardware.–I would buy this cable againCons:–Cable gauge a little smaller than I prefer, it is flexible, but functionality is what matters–Cable has not been USB-IF certified but that is fine so long as the product performs according to industry and category standards, certification costs can be high; having it does give customers comfort the product meets standards and not all sellers are truthful in their advertising.

I thought it would work-- UPDATED to 5 Stars
Update:Giving it 5 stars from 2! This company stands behind their product even if your first suspicions are wrong. They sent me another cable even though I'd thrown the first one out. I test as before and had the same issues, but I had acquired anther USB hub in the meantime and tested it with that. I'm locating the fault to the USB-C port on the hub dropping connections intermittently. Nice going CableCreation! You earned the upgrade!Original:It worked just good enough to make me believe it was working. Connected to an iOptron mount to move data to a powered USB hub connected via type C. I couldn't get my 3 cameras to reliably transmit to my laptop. Used a different Type B to Type A USB3 cable to troubleshoot. That worked fine. I can't put blame on this cable at 100% as I don't know if the fault is the cable or the type C port on the hub that is at fault, but the hub type A USB3 data is solid. Cable appears to be solid and beefy enough though. Both the hub and the cable were new purchases.

When you need to convert from USB-B to USB-C/Thunderbolt
Not much to say about this cable, it works perfectly. I have a few older peripherals (scanner, printer) that use the older USB Type B connections, and most newer Macs employ Thunderbolt, so a dual cable is often required. These worked flawlessly for me. Now I can finally discard all my older cables and clean out my desk drawer.
