I just needed this for a quick levelling job, so did not want to spend a lot of money. when it arrived it felt like a good quality heavy tool, you also get a carry pouch really impressed. It came with 2 batteries so was in use straight away. Its a red laser it`s pretty bright and i was using it in bright light but the lines were clear. Cheap and cheerful just buy one. You will need a tripod though.

I purchased primarily with a floor levelling job in mind. I'm a DIYer who is otherwise unlikely to use this more than once or twice per year, so I couldn't justify paying for a branded model.I'm very surprised at how good this is for the price. It has a tripod mount and will self level itself provided it is set up within tolerance. The power light turns red if it isn't in a position to self level so its a quick and easy reference.Shines a green vertical and horizontal line, which I found perfectly visible during daylight. It also has a decent projection width. I'm not sure on the limit, but placed just inside the doorway it easily covered a whole 4m x 3m room. I checked it with a 1m spirit level and both lines were perfectly level.It feels robust enough and surprisingly rugged so a great choice for any DIYer's toolbox. My concrete floor is now perfectly level due to the height markers this helped me drill. I'm sure it'll also make putting up shelves and pictures a lot easier than the laser spirit level I was using before!

Good price for a green laser level. Definitely buy green as it does show up better than the red ones. Wish I had bought one years ago

It works well inside but the laser light is not bright enough to work outside in daylight unless for very short distances but you have to expect limitations in the price range. Fine for indoor use and for that I recommend it without hesitation.

I purchased this laser level as I do a lot of DIY around the house also very useful for hanging photos and pictures and making sure that everything is beautifully level.I’m happy to report that I haven’t had any issues with the self levelling, I have paired this up with a cheap photography tripod and as long as the level is within intolerance, the auto levelling device will work perfectly, if it’s too far out of plum the laser will flash and you can adjust the tripod accordingly.Very happy with the laser level, an easy five stars.
