The (Nearly) Teenage Boy's Guide to (Almost) Everything

I thought I could give to my son on his 13th birthday. But it had too explicit information which isn't told or discussed openly in families or schools in UAE. Tried to rip out the explicit parts but that left behind nothing. So..not useful. Probably for other kind of family setups. Not appropriate for us.

Bad kind of chapters

As a present it went down well, boys enjoyed finding out interesting facts! A great find to keep children informed of how it is.

Great book covering lots of important topics for preteens and teens. Schools where I live teach about periods, sex, contraception far too late. I'm not even sure what they teach the boys. I like that it includes respectful relationships, bullying and about anxiety and self esteem.

This book is brilliant and covers everything. I'm so pleased I bought this for my 13 year old son as a go to guide should he have any questions and feel to mortified to ask me or his dad. Although we'd covered the basics with him, this book covers everything and so much more. It's brilliantly laid out, has fantastic illustrations and is written in a language that appeals to young people. Really cannot recommend this book it covers everything from sex, social media, mental health, changes in the body and girls. I'm sure the version for girls will be just as good.

Lots of really important information that growing boys may not be comfortable asking about.

Haven't given it to grandson yet but looks informative and fun.
