Kiwi4" Sharp Pairing Knife, with wood Handle # 503

Great knife brand. I do A LOT of cooking and have owned a lot of nice, expensive, knives.This brand isn't a heavy blade and not a great handle. But they are one of the sharper blades I have had and the steel is a very good, hard, steel that holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen and hone.I have basically retired all of my "nice" knives in favor of Kiwi knives. These 4" paring knives are also my current steak knife set. Great knives overall.

First time buying the kiwi paring knife but I have bought several of their knifes. I’ve even bought as gifts for friends who like to cook. They are my favorite knives for chopping vegetables, fruit and meat. The blade is thin but it doesn’t bother me that it is.

Light weight, great cutting easy to use!

I like this blade, but it is not as agile as my other paring knives. Paring fruits, is not a problem and little prep jobs were easy. The edge works better when I sharpened it up. The handle is not a smooth finish, but the grip good. Very light knife.

This is my 2nd Kiwi knife, and they have both been razor sharp. These knifes won't win any beauty contests, but they are functional. I have more expensive knives, but these are the ones I reach for time and again. They simply work. The blades are thin, so they are not suitable for going through bones and really hard stuff. For everything else they make for almost effortless cutting. You could spend $100 or more on a knife, but I love the feeling I get when I think I've gotten a bargain. And these are a great bargain in my opinion. For the price, you won't hate yourself in the morning either way.

This isnt the best or most expensive knife out there. Actually, its quite cheap. But it does its job well and is the best knife for a casual cook. And if you blunt it or damage it, its cheap to replace and has 90% of the quality of an item much more expensive.

This is a great little knife for the price. It comes sharp out of the packaging and is easy to sharpen with a standard sharpener. The label on the handle leaves some residue which can be removed with rubbing alcohol. I recommend adding some finish (cutting board oil, mineral oil, etc) to protect the unfinished wood handle long-term.
