Absolutely. The straps would allow for a punching bag being held

Q: Is "composite leather" made from actual leather, or is it simulation leather?

I think it is faux leather. It didn't have that leather smell when we opened it.

Q: If I use this as a crash/silencing pads for weight lifting - will it work? will it last? (olympic lifting)

I wouldn't use them for that. They probably wouldn't last long.

Q: Can this be left outside in the rain?
