Voodoo Dollies: Best of Gene Loves Jezebel

Lost my other CD and ordered this to replace it. Great quality.

I was never a huge fan of Gene Loves Jezebel--I picked this up simply for their biggest hits. And as far as that goes, it does the job admirably. The additional songs in the collection that I either wasn't familiar with or just didn't like so much, well, they're growing on me.

My favorite Songs in this Best of Collection are "Heartache", "Desire" and "Motion of love" and the rest of the other songs are All good too, so Im Really Glad I bought this Collection of music from a relatively obscure and Not too well known band from the 80's and 90's and beyond !!! ;)

My teenage daughters turned me on to Gene loves Jezebel, back in the early 90's. I love the songs "Desire" and "Beyond Doubt", drove myself to distraction figuring out how to play them both on my keyboard. Great dance tunes, and a unique sound.

Unreal ! This classic is very difficult to locate ! Appreciateyour time and effort for me the music listener and buyer !

I WAS EXPECTING MORE TUNES LIKE DESIRE, JEALOUS, JOSEPHINA, AND ACTUALLY DID NOT ENJOY THEIR EARLIER TUNES LIKE THE OTHER REVIEWERS DID. SO, I WAS ACTUALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE COLLECTION.IT IS NOT THAT I DON'T LIKE GOTH, BECAUSE I DO. I LIKE EVERYTHING FROM SWING TO PUNK TO EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN SO I GUESS IT JUST DIDN'T DO IT FOR ME. I RECOMMEND LISTENING TO THE TUNES ON AMAZON/ YOUTUBE ETC. AND MAKE SURE YOU LIKE MOST OF WHAT YOU HEAR BEFORE YOU PICK THIS UP.

Some great songs and some not so great. Good compilation.

Blast from the past, in my early twenties used to see Gene Loves Jezebel on tour so enjoying singing along to the old tracks in the car! Love it thanks!!
