Padlock Guard, Hardened Steel, Blk, 9"L

For the most part fits and works well. I have 12 containers manufactured at different times and locations-the “hook fingers” that go on the locking bar were too close for ONE on the containers locking bars. It fit fine on the others. If I had the time I’d just grind off what wasn’t needed, it’s less than 3mm but enough you can’t get it under the rod to hold the lock. The blocking arm appears short and lets the lever rotate out somewhat but then blocks it solidly. It seems odd but works well as a longer blocking arm would likely need to be much thicker to prevent bending, and a tighter fit to stop the lever from being bumped out of the lock saddle would be near impossible to fit as many different door bars as exist out there. I started my order with three of these locks as a test, but trial fitted all my boxes. I will order 9 more with keyed-alike locks and simply grind a bit on the door bar constructed “wide” between the hooking points.Easy to fit and you can lock it on the rod anyplace so that it doesn’t walk off or get tossed into the mud!Wish I’d measured the latch distance on the pole to let others know the dimension to look for beforehand.
