Old Clawfoot Bath Tub Mount Faucet Elbows Adapter Connector to Water Line,3/4 IPS Female to 1/2 IPS male, 1 Pair

This part worked just as designed and fit perfectly the threading of my new faucet!BUT!! I thought I could attach the 1/2 inch end directly to my copper pipes with a compression fitting, and that wasn't the case - the threading on the elbows doesn't match up. I thought perhaps I could find something that would accept the threading and convert to a compression fitting, but after 3 visits to local hardware stores to sift through their parts, alot of online DIY research, and 2+ days without a functioning bathtub/shower, I wound up caving and buying flexible supply lines which fit the 1/2 inch end of these elbows and attach to my copper pipes with a converter to compression fitting.At the end of the day, though, these look WAY better and are much more user-friendly than the cobbled-together connections my tub used to have! The rubber washers make a firm seal with just hand-tightening, and they're holding soundly with no leaks. And, aside from having to scramble for the right connector, they are perfectly easy to use and suited to the task.

My (expensive) Signature Hardware clawfoot tub hardware kit didn't come with these and I had no idea how to connect. After dismantling the old connections (which were incorrect, a sort of mickey-moused together 3/4" hose bib connection) and several failed trips to my local Ace hardware, I contacted Signature and learned about these bits of hardware, also known as "bathcock couplings" but they were sold out of their expensive versions. Well, lo and behold, these were in stock on Amazon and came the next day and made the install SO MUCH EASIER. They're very sturdy and look great too.

Much better install option than the solid cast iron elbows I took off. The water hose style slip fitting with seal let me install the lines with the tub in place with ease.

Great product, solid brass. Great price. Makes hooking up claw foots way easier. Can use braided supply’s or chrome supply’s and hook them to straight stop shut offs. I’m a plumber and will use these from now on.

Having a old clawfoot tub and not much room to work, these made installing a new faucet very easy. Good quality and good value, could not have asked for more.

Awesome. These are exactly what we needed. Neither the big box stores nor the local plumbing shops didn't have them or even know what to recommend. We went through two other fittings that leaked horribly and ruined the headboard behind the tub before finding these. Dry as a bone. Saved us from a frustrating problem! Perfect fit.
