Helen Stephens never disappoints! Another fun book in the How to Hide a Lion series!

I love finding unusual books out there that get overlooked on a book shelf. I believe this book is most likely one of them especially around Christmas. The illustrations in this book are colorful and kind of old school like. They are different then most books that you find for kids. The story-line is so sweet that I really want to go and find out more about Iris and her Lion. How did they come together and why wasn't she scared of him. Cassie loved this story and she giggled at the silly Lion looking for the little girl. But also when the lion meets Santa in a way. It's a cute story and perfect to check out for the Christmas holiday.

As wonderful as the rest of the series. My daughter was delighted by this Christmas take on her favourite characters- Iris and her lion. Buy the others too!

We have a lovely Helen Stephens collection growing as me and the Mini are both equally huge fans, which as a parent is a massive bonus, (many a book I have hidden if I just can’t read it again!!). We discussed getting this ages ago but I was desperate for it to be a Christmas gift. This was tip top of her Santa list so she was seriously happy and we have so enjoyed reading it over and over, especially given the recent snow. Absolutely beautiful as with all her others, I love the classic/old school vibes of her work. Highly and hugely recommend ❤️

My little boy received this in his stocking this year and LOVED it! It's a lovely story, beautifully illustrated and a great quality book. Highly recommend as it will be one we will read every Christmas.

The How to Hide a Lion series is excellent and our family all really enjoyed reading this as part of our daughters Christmas Eve box. The illustrations are wonderful, which as someone who works in the art world, I particularly enjoy and appreciate.
