I’ve finally used this line winder for the first time and it is absolute trash. The first time using it, the handle broke, the winder isn’t working as it’s supposed to and by far, this is the worst purchase I could have made. Dont waste your time or money.

This winder works as it should. Great for changing fly lines or cleaning and dressing fly lines. I only wish that the c clamp was wider, other than that I have no complaints.

The first one I received was worthless. The replacement... works, but their idea of a '"stop lock" is not going to get it. If you get one for a few winds, it might do.I do a lot of shooting line and head changes and can see, without any personal adjustments, this probably won't cut it. Keeping my fingers crossed.I purchased one over 20 years ago which worked flawlessly, but don't remember where I got it..Again, for a few changes of backing, shooting line and heads.... it'll probably work...Good luck.

This winder works exactly as it should and seems to be built to last me the rest of my life. What more could you ask?

The counterweight for the handle broke off before the wider was removed from the shipping bags. Find something else if you can.

No more makeshift version with a chopstick - this product works perfectly and really is high quality. Very pleased!!
