It is constructed with a durable, waterproof (IPX7) advanced polymer case and weights only 5.2 oz. with batteries. The rugged construction withstands a 3 meter drop test. The white and colored LEDs each have three levels of light - low, medium and high. Red, Green, Blue and IR LED's provide colored light options and have independent switches. The IR operates in either steady or IFF mode. The 2-AA powered light will run 8 hours on Energizer Lithium batteries. The Cree high performance LED delivers 79 lumens of bright light optimizing the beam with a TIR lens. Both batteries are mounted positive end first for easy battery replacement, even in the dark! The light will run with either one or two AA batteries inserted. The head swivels and locks at 90o and 180 o positions and the tail cap is tethered to the light.
