Had to shorten the piece that prevents the generator breaker from turning on. It was to long not allowing the breaker below it to turn on. So. I shortened with a hacksaw. Otherwise it is just what I expected.

Nice product. I had to trim about a quarter inch off the bottom of the lower arm that interferes with the generator breaker as it was to long and contacted to breaker below it. My breaker panel DID match the required measurements but it is a very old Square D panel, 1960’s model so I wasn’t expecting to find anything compatible when I found this. Otherwise the item works perfectly. My new off grid solar inverter is now safe from being back fed from the grid.

Works as good as stated a must have if you use a generator. Only negative thing I wish it had a template it would have been a little easier but works great.

Makes self installing a generator easier.

Product is just as advertised, haven’t finished the install just yet. It will fill my needs for safety reguirements to hook up a generator to my house.

Installed in my panel in 15 minutes. No wiring or transfer switch needed. Remove cover, drill three holes, mount then reinstall cover. Simple as that.
