Q: Would this be able to be connected to a external dock? Laptop->dock->hub->peripheral?

Yes it does. I have that setup.

Q: Will this work for charging

There is one port on the end which claims to be a charge port, but I guess it depends on how you have it connected to the PC. It doesn't work for me because it draws too much power away from the other things that are connected to the hub, and vice versa.

Q: Can i used this to attach external ssd drives?

Yes it take external HDD but not more than 2 and not in the PD port. I has to be on the side ports.

Q: Have you used this with an audio interface? How was it?

I have used with a Jabra Headset. It worked fine.
