Chocolate El Mayordomo. The taste of Oaxaca (Premium, 500 gr)

Dear friends brought a box of this back for me from their trip to Oaxaca. I created an amazing cheesecake with a chocolate swirl and cinnamon whip cream using this. Brought it to my friend for dessert after a dinner get together...they gave me the rest of their chocolate!Fast forward 10 years, and I have not been able to find this anywhere. I even had a friend who owns a few Tiendas try to import it, and they could not. I was so excited to find it here!It’s super smooth, not gritty like many Mexican chocolate varieties. It’s melts so nicely, it’s perfect for hot chocolate and for baking. It was super fun creating a cheesecake recipe for this amazing chocolate. I surprised my friends who brought me the original chocolate with a cheesecake last weekend for Super Bowl Sunday and they were so happy to have this amazing treat again!This is amazing chocolate, the premium, cinnamon and vanilla are fantastic!!

I have tasted many Mexican chocolates and I found this one to be the best in flavor

Good, on the sweet side for me.

Even though is pricey, I will buy it again if don’t find a cheaper seller.

Yummy, if you enjoy Mexican chocolate. I even made a flan with it using a Rick Bayles recipe.

I love the flavor, it's delicious! Not as sweet as other brands you find in stores.

Thought I was ordering a powder for hot chocolate. Packaging was cheap and poorly made negating a possible return. Very mild to noflavor (only color when using 4 oz/16 oz cream cheese)when used in making cheesecake. Cost prohibitively expensive for this chocolate. NO RECOMMENDED.
