Does not deserve 'advanced' in title
Disappointing. Just too basic.

Superficial and Sparse, Lazy Work
I picked up this book (the series actually) to prepare for a job interview as a Java Developer. When I opened the book for the first time, I realized that I had been duped once again by these authors who write 120 page books with large margins in font size 21. There is such little content in this book that (1) you can probably get through it in 1-2 hours if you have any programming experience, and (2) you won't really learn much about any of the topics in enough depth to be useful in practice. Lesson learned: read the sample pages before ordering any book on Amazon. To be fair, paying $3 for the kindle version as a very fast read might be worth it, but don't waste your money on the paperback copy. Honestly, even if it were free, I still wouldn't invest the time to read it. I'm returning these right away. I know this sounds harsh, but that's my opinion. I'm tired of authors putting out poor quality and lazy work on Amazon.
