I've been a vessel fitter and welder for 20+ years. I decided to try these Amazon Basics clamps, since I've had really good luck with Amazon products. (The orange Amazon commercial work gloves hold up amazingly well, btw).Overall, I like these clamps. They're hardened steel, and have the same sturdiness you get from 11r Milwaukee and 11r Irwin clamps. I read reviews that said these have 'too much play' and I was weary. After comparing them to my existing Milwaukee and Irwin clamps, I have no trouble telling you that they have no more or less 'play' in them than other clamps. I was able to hang a rolled steel plate on stiffener rings, that measured ¼x92"x216" with no problems. My helper once brought Harbor Freight 11r clamps, and this kind of plate mangled them (dangerous).I gave these clamps 4 stars due to the lack of clearance they have between the feet. Milwaukee clamps have the same issue. It falls short of 4". I keep Irwin's around due to their ability to clamp 2"x2" square tube.Pictured for comparison: Irwin in blue, Milwaukee in red, Amazon Basics unpainted.After putting these through rigorous field testing, I've decided to buy 5 more sets.

Surprisingly, there not as cheap as I thought they would be. They work good for light to medium clamping. I recommend them for sheet metal and Fiberglass.

I’m a welder and metal fabricator, and Ive bought 3 sets so far. They seem to be working out.

The clamps come in an oily state. The heads are not properly aligned and have a lot play, making proper clamping near impossible.The vise grip brand version is just perfect and expensive 😕

I like the finish and action on these vice gripping clamp tools. I have some Vice Grip and Craftsman brand tools of similar form and function that I purchased about 20 years ago that have an odd dull finish that I really don't like. Over the years that dull finish has turned evil. This shiny coating of metal on these Amazon Basics clamps is similar to the good old finish I find on my trusty no-name brand grippy pliers. That coating is still playing nicely after 30 years. I like it.The spring action on these tools is easy to activate if not the smoothest thing around. They are a bit clunky and sort of rough in an accurate way but do the job well. Keep in mind that only the middle set has rotating clamps. The large and smaller guys are ready to smash your surface round.

Die Klammern sind mehr als praktisch und durch die verschiedenen Öffnungen lassen sich auch zum Teil am Rand überstehende Werkstücke gut fixieren - insbesondere im Bereich KFZ (zum Beispiel als Halterung für kleinere Lackierarbeiten, beim Andrücken von Bauteilen zum Trocknen etc) sind diese Teile einfach unerlässlich!Die Funktion und Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei!Preis-Leistung sind hier absolut in Ordnung!

Estas pinzas son de muy buena calidad y ademas ejercen mucha presión, las he usado para sujetar piezas de hierro mientras soldaba y han soportado bien el calor.Son ajustable en tamaño, la rosca que tiene va bastante fluida y se enrosca bastante fácil, espero que con el uso siga asi pero de momento todo perfecto.Pesan bastante para el tamaño que tienen con lo que se ve que el material que han usado es fuerte.

Au moment où je rédige l'annonce, ce produit n'est pas en vente libre sur le site d'Amazon et je ne connais donc pas son prix.Je suis en revanche très agréablement surpris (une fois de plus) par ce produit proposé par Amazon. Ces 3 pinces Clamp sont fabriquées à partir d'un métal de bonne facture, que l'on peut apprécier en le soupesant notamment.Les 3 pinces ont des tailles différentes. Il est possible de régler l'écartement de la pince en tournant la petite molette située au bout de l'un des manches, puis on vient pincer les éléments à fixer entre les deux mâchoires que l'on referme en serrant la pince. Ce genre de pince est idéal par exemple pour des travaux de soudure.Les pinces sont un peu grasse car les mécanismes sont bien graissés, cela leur permet de fonctionner parfaitement.
