The 17" faux-leather sleeve/case is nicer than expected. I chose this because of some negative issues which I had read among many customer reviews of the fabric cases. This surface will easily wipe clean and will not easily stain from grease nor become a dust magnet. The main opening also has a metal zipper rather than the more flimsy plastic zippers seen on the black fabric version which was said by some to quickly fail. The side pocket has a plastic zipper but with a straight pull (no corners) that should not be an issue. Easily fits my late 2016 HP Envy 17" laptop with room to spare allowing easy removal. The quilted interior is more tightly sewn than the stock photo indicates - which is an improvement. Stitching now forms small 1-1/2" (35mm) squares which should better prevent potential shifting of the interior fabric and its cushioned backing. The zippered side pocket has a few sewn pockets, maximum heights 3-1/2" (90mm). The largest could hold a smart phone, a mouse, supplemental power pack, or ac adapter; two will hold a pen or stylus and another would be best for just holding flash drive sticks or SD memory cards. Be advised that at a maximum height of 8" (200mm) this zippered pocket is not deep enough to contain standard paper files and folders... but, there is ample space within the main section for that... unless you plan to carry a massive dimension gaming laptop in this case. The concealable fold-out handles are simply stitched in around 3" below the zippered top opening, the rest of the areas are completely open spaces; so you might easily also use these two side pockets to carry additional papers if you first roll them to insert and then open them flat. Overall, a great buy for such a low price!

This attache case is very professional in appearance. It looks like real leather and also has a second separate zip up organizer section.

Had purchased a laptop which was 17 inches and needed a case to store it in. I saw this item and decided to buy it. The price I paid was well worth it as I am very pleased. My laptop fits nicely in the main compartment. There is another area where you can store accessories. I highly recommend purchasing this product as you won't be disappointed.
