These Almond leaves from Matchimaa were the perfect solution for my new Betta tank. As soon as I noticed that my newest fish baby was struggling I hopped on Amazon. Delivery was next day. After only 24 hours “Waffles” movements were significantly healthier looking and he seemed generally happier.The package came vacuum sealed so the leaves were fresh. The amount of leaves included and the variety of sizes was quite generous, allowing me to find just the right leaf for my 5 gallon tank. The water from the tannins was visually apparent not long into day one but the leaf did sink by day two.Overall, and based on my initial experience , I would highly recommend this product for any size tank. Fantastic quality, and quantity for the price.One final comment, the package states the leaves are good for up to one year given they are properly stored.

My Betta Love this
These are the best leaves I’ve purchased for my betta fish. They come in assorted sizes so you can mix it up in your tank.They do release a lot of tannin so your water will change colors, but my betta fish is loving it.He was starting to get Finn rot but has been in much better health since I started using these. Highly recommend.

Great quality for the price
Great quality and amount for the price. No need to boil first, just set on top of the water and they'll sink. Adds color to my blackwater tank and gives the fish a healthy environment.

Great tank addition
Bought these to try to improve my beta’s health after researching. Happy with the quantity and quality of this pack. Mt fish seems to be thriving now and my algae eater and snail like to feed on the leaves.

Does what its intended to
The media could not be loaded. I'm going to start off by saying that this product does work incredibly well. It comes in a neatly packaged bag, and for the most part the leaves are 90% whole.They are fully dry and leech tanins into the water very quickly. This is incredibly beneficial for certain aquatic species such as my Caiman Lizards.Only giving 4/5 stars purely based on pricing. In my opinion, the amount of leaves you get does not warrant the cost BUT these are a great choice for product overall

May color your water. Tank inhabitants like it.
My first ever use of these. Different sizes. Boiled them to reduce the tannin color and kill any possible parasites. Added a small one to my 5.5 gallon beta tank and a large one to my 20 gallon aquarium tank. Did color my 5.5 tank. Didn’t realize it until my first water change after adding it. Brown water. No noticeable color change on my 20 gallon tank. My corydora, shrimp and snails seem to like it.

I was not prepared.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my first pack from this company. My previous almond leaves came in a pack from a national pet store. THESE THINGS ARE HUGE. I love it. There are multiple sizes within, but the big ones will work great in my 20 and 50 gallon tanks. I cut up a smaller one for my 3 and 2 gallon tanks. I'm extremely happy with these and happier that I added them to my auto-ship.
