The book does a good job of explaining the basics. It is good for someone just getting started with guitar and who doesn't know the basic chords. It isn't many pages, so you will be able to go through it in a short time, but if you actually take the time to master each section, it will be take you a while to get through it. For example, switching from one chord to another while strumming may take some time to do fluently. The music in the included CD is good because you can hear what you are supposed to be sounding like.So... it is a good book for one with zero experience. Too basic if you already know chords and strum patterns. It is relatively short, but is well written and the included CD is helpful. You need to know how to read Spanish.
