This is my favorite "junk syrup" to have with comfort pancakes. You know the ones... the pancakes (or waffles) you make after a really hard day. Yes, it's lovely to have real syrup & try to be healthier about it, but sometimes healthier isn't what you want. Sometimes you need a stack of pancakes with lots of butter & the perfect tasting junk syrup as self-care. This is the one :)My only criticism is that I wish the bottle was shorter and wider. This doesn't fit in the cupboard I want it in, so I wind up having to stash it where it's not as handy. Annnd, now I want pancakes :)

This is a really good protein pancake mix. Make sure to follow directions and adding blueberries or other mix-ins works fine.

I made a pancake-for-one and the mix reads "just add water."It mixed easily, cooked as expected, and it tasted very good to me.I'm ambivalent about the "protein" claim. In sum, the mix contains"flours, sugars, and leavening" ingredients.I added it to my little pantry for a quick snack for myself and to have on hand when my Granddaughter comes for visits.Will buy again.
