Q: Does this machine turn itself off when it overheats?

I have had mine 2 years...making celery juice every day and it never has overheated. Still works perfectly. I think it's an excellent machine, as celery juice isn't easy, and cleaning this juicer is easy.

Q: Can you buy the stainless steel 304 filter?

You can't buy any parts for it that I'm aware of. Bummer, I know.

I noticed it vibrates with a lot of hard veggies and fruits………maybe not enough power. Also makes a loud squeaky noise with leafy greens like kale and cabbage etc. In my opinion this NOT WORTH IT. Choose another juicer.
