I LOVE this thing!!
Okay, so yes. The pics show my real legs. I have osteoarthritis and it's been difficult to shave in the shower since it takes so much out of me just to do the normal shower things - washing my hair and body. I'm not able to put one leg up on the side of the tub, shave, and then take care of the other leg. I tried that out of pure determination and pride....and fell. I had something I'd sit on, but it's seemed to have walked off somewhere. So, it's been about a month since I last shaved my legs since I literally couldn't. We bought a few things that are arriving soon that will assist me in making things easier, but before these arrive, I purchased an electric wet/dry razor because I couldn't take it anymore. This is real life, people. No Photoshop, glamour, high society lifestyle here. Just a mom who deals with an unforgiving arthritic disease that only gets worse and has no cure. With that being said....This wet/dry electric razor is amazing. I had one a few years back and it got lost in our move. Then the world shut down (thanks covid) and I couldn't find another one. We moved into a place where I was able to get around easier, and have an easier time taking a shower. I'm in my 30's, so is it a pride thing for me? Ehh...a little. Nothing like going from taking care of others to needing some assistance yourself.. but so life goes. This past month, I've dealt with a series of up's and downs with my health. More downs than up's, which has resulted in my inability to shave my legs routinely like I'd like to do. Hours were cut. Days were shortened. Money became tighter and tighter. This is real life for a lot of people. Things finally started to look up after the beginning of the year, so I began looking for some things that would make life a bit easier for me. There are women out there who choose to not shave. That is a personal preference. For me, however, I want to and I feel better after doing so. Entering stage left: PalmPerfect Wet/Dry Electric Razor.I paid for overnight shipping. $2.99 was well worth it to me. It arrived quickly and packaged well. Immediately, I opened the package and insert the batteries. This little thing is powerful. Small, but mighty. Fits in your hand perfectly and has the fortitude and strength to power through the toughest jobs. (See pics 😂) Side note: it sounds like a vibrator. If you're looking for "quiet", this isn't it.After turning it on, I gave a short sigh, and started at my ankle. WOW. I couldn't believe how well this worked! The amount of time it took to shave both my legs was considerably less than how long it would have taken me in the shower. My legs are smooth. Like...truly smooth. I put some lotion on and it felt almost like shaving with my razor. If you're looking for something for a tween/teen, for yourself for on the go or if you're in a situation like myself where you're unable to shave in the shower on a normal basis, this is one I'd go with. I'll never buy a different one (unless I find one that's absolutely better than this, with ease of use, shaves extremely well, and DOES NOT CUT the skin, like this one). For $10, you can't go wrong.

Works so good
I HATE shaving my legs and always get razor burn and cuts. Used to just wear pants all summer. Not anymore. You’ll find me clean shaven at the pool

Simple unit, easy to use
I got this for my husband, who has Parkinsons. We tried pricier shavers but this is simple and so easy to use. One star down because it stopped working after 10 months (batteries were fine). On the other hand, for $10/year - if that's what it takes - it's a better deal than a $60 unit we can't figure out how to use. The oddity is that I had the EXACT unit in my drawer, 30 years old, rarely used, and it works fine. So I guess we have a spare.

Just Okay — Hard to Find Replacement Heads
This razor works fine for basic touch-ups, but the big drawback is how hard it is to find replacement heads. That alone made it a bit frustrating to keep using long-term. It’s compact and lightweight, but not my go-to anymore.

My FAVORITE electric razor! I never buy any other!
These are the ONLY electric razors I EVER buy!!! I go back to these time and time again. They give a smooth shave. They are easy to use. They fit in the palm of your hand. They have a small "rope" attached that you can use to hang somewhere or hold onto when shaving.

Almost entirely useless!
I bought this razor because the rechargeable battery on my old razor died after several years. I came back to Amazon to buy a replacement only to find (for some inexplicable reason) that they will not ship it to Hawaii. This was the only "electric" razor they were willing to ship, and it was inexpensive so I thought I would give it a try. Now, having done that, I can say without reservation that it is the worst razor I have used in 30 years. it reminds me of a cheap disposable razor which I had as a teenager. After shaving (twice!) it felt like I had a day or 2 worth of stubble.I am guessing both because of the price and cute designs that this is targeted towards teenagers. Who knows, maybe they will find an "audience" in people who have no experience with electric razors. If this is your first electric, do not judge the others by this, it is absolutely worst in class.Time was I did not think I could get a good shave from an electric razor (thinking back to my first razor which was pretty ineffective). *But* I was happily proved wrong by my experience with both Remington WDF-1100 Smooth & Silky Women's Shaver, WDF1100 and Panasonic ES8103S Pro-Curve Wet/Dry Rechargeable Linear Pivot Action Shaving System, Silver Both of these products are very good, give a nice smooth & safe shave. In fact, I have had several Remingtons at this point and would recommend their electric razors unequivocally. Granted, these are more expensive, but not very much more (the Panasonic can be found for around $20), and there is nothing more expensive than a useless product.Pros:It's cheapit's cuteit is safeit's portableCons:VERY poor shave; worst of any razor I have tried to include 99 cent disposablesLess environmentally friendly than disposables as it uses batteries which must be replaced/ throw out and which are pretty noxious in landfills (not to mention expensive, relative to a rechargeable)In sum, it is really hard to get past the big issue, that it gives an awful shave. Even after 2 passes it is still not as good as any other razor I have used.I don't know how much "cute" is worth to you in a razor. Are you going to wear or display it?It is only cheap if it is useful, does not require the purchase of something else. For me, this was an expensive purchase as it will likely never be used again, or maybe only in a pinch... if my primary dies and I do not have a disposable at hand. Even for those who do use it on a regular basis, replacing batteries is more expensive than using a rechargeable (or a blade disposable).Safe: yes it is that, but so is any electric, and this one does chafe/ scratch making it less safe than other electric razors.portable: more so than a rechargeable, no more so than a disposable.Since I have found some electric razors which provide a shave as close as a blade I have given up the blade razors (because I have cut myself too many times). I had not bought one in over 10 years, until I used this. Then I went out & bought a disposable until my *real* razor arrives.I have to say that this is the first time in many years that Amazon has disappointed me (no, I do not hold them accountable for this product ; But why on earth will you not ship me an electric razor when you have shipped a reel lawn mower (which is obviously much larger, heavier and more costly to ship). that is a real puzzle... and so I was forced to go buy a real razor somewhere else. My experience buying from Amazon is so much better than other stores, from the ease of ordering, great prices, great customer service, fast (and free) delivery and tracking... that I always shop here first (and consequently it is usually my last stop) *BUT* if it means winding up with a product so inferior that I throw or give it away and then have to go and find a suitable replacement, that's no bargain. This is such a product. and hmmm, now that I think about it, where is that razor I ordered (to replace this)?(Please Amazon, make one or more of the real electric razors available to us in the islands.)
