I think this stuff went bad. Product description says you might detect a faint odor upon opening the package. However, when I opened my package the smell coming out hit me like a brick wall. A very stinky brick wall. It smells like either rotten water from a flower vase, you know, if you forget to change it out and the flowers die. But MUUUUCH worse. Or it could be the scent of gym clothes left in a hot car for an entire summer. It's bad, bad, bad. And rinsing doesn't help. I rinsed it for several minutes. My kid came in the kitchen and was like "OMG, what IS that smell?" Now, I have to admit, I am brave, and I was very hungry, so I did eat it. When mixed in with cream of poblano sauce w/ beef it didn't taste bad and I didn't get sick from it. But the next day my body odor smelled EXACTLY like when I first opened the package. I don't think I would order this brand again.

I’m just not a fan of the slimy texture, it’s just me, I don’t like the noodles either. But I love the low carbs

Looking for a low/no carb alternative to regular rice, this is it. I think the texture is closer to regular rice, although not exact. MUST rinse 3 times, the same way you would with regular rice. Don't know if other reviewers did that or just ate it straight (ugh!). I always mixed it with other sauces and spices for flavor and didn't have a problem.

My son ordered this, he loves rice but is trying to lose weight....It comes in individual boxes and then in a sealed bag.... The "rice" is cooked , just need to heat....I opened the bag...omg the smell hit me like a slap... raw fish.. I stopped and read the ingredients ..oats and konjac flour.... ok.. rinsed a few times.. heated in a pan.........when you bite it... the lil pearls of rice has the consistency of raw fish....worst of all...NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN ..$13.99 WASTED.

I tried the zero carb noodles and loved them so I wanted to find a rice also. This product's taste and texture isn't good and wouldn't buy again.

This product is not too good I won't recommend this rice

Totally gross and mushy. Smelled like fish farts!
