Brought as a replacement piece. And worked well. I just placed it position, pressed on the the bottom to other half of magnetic and boom work without having to active a whole new device. Definitely worth the purchase if this the only piece your missing. I have no complaints at all. Love all my ring products.

Tricky to install
It was tricky and I ended up calling tech support to help. They were very friendly and helpful.

Great if you need to have window open secured
I live in a house that is hundred years old and unfortunately can't have central air so I still have to use window units. This small device let's the window be open and yet secure. I like this very much. I would recommend it to anybody that needs to have a window opened yet have it alarmed and secured.

It’s a Ring
One of mine fell off of a garage side door and disappeared. Way cheaper than ordering from Ring.
