Basic ICD-10-CM/PCS Coding 2013

I am working through the CCA program with AHIMA. This book is great for the course I am currently taking. There are definitely spelling errors throughout it, but nothing I could not easily figure out. I cannot imagine reading it without a coding course that requires it, especially since the answer key is not included. Thankfully, AHIMA does provided a downloadable answer key with the course.

It's what I needed for class.

Book is straight forward and easy to understand. Really describes how to use the Coding books for those who have never done coding, and even for those who just aren't familiar with the new ICD 10 system.

The book helped a great deal. Just wished I had purchased instead of rented, it was too badly used.

I hate, hate, hate this book. This book gives no examples on how to code! Please listen authors, when you write a book, you obviously have in-depth knowledge about the topic (I hope). But readers like me, we DON'T. So elaborate! Give examples. Write in a way that people understand.If you can't, then please do not torture us with such books.
