It depends on which iOS version it is running. If it's running up to iOS 11.3, it can recover deleted data. For iOS 11.4 through iOS 12, it cannot recover deleted text messages but recovers other deleted data. For iOS 13 and newer, it doesn't recover deleted data but gets all the user data and allows you to search and examine all the data. It's primarily used to investigate user data since it's nearly impossible to manually scroll through gigabytes of user data.

Unfortunately, it cannot. The phone must be able to be turned on and the screen unlocked.

does it work with iphone 10?

It did not work on my IPhone 8 for what I needed. It will not recover anything you have deleted and it gives the impression that it does. Once something has been deleted and the iphone backs up it backs up over the old data and if you have deleted something it will not bring it back, it is just gone.

complete waste of money

you have to know enough information to unlock the phone to get any info with this thing and then it really doesnt do much unless you jailbreak the phone but if you have all that info already then why in the hell do you need this tool? Its a scam. Do your research like i should have

Does NOT work

Don't bother, this device did not work. I tried using 3 different computers (two MACs and a PC) and it did not work on any of them. The info I had deleted from my phone could not be recovered. Waste of time and money.
