Great file cabinet for the price! I love it. Very attractive and functional. Not difficult to assemble but took a long time to assemble.

It’s a great, sturdy little cabinet. It took me a few hours to build, but I built it solo and took my time. The written instructions are a bit confusing, but using the build video in tandem made it much easier, once it started coming together it became very self explanatory. The measurements were exactly as advertised, I needed it to fit in a tight spot and it fit perfectly. Treat it like any other pressed wood furniture and it should hold up over the years.

This is the great product however the directions are somewhat lacking. I managed to get all the pieces together and the last two screws I was going to put in where the file cabinet portion. The opening for the last two screws towards the back of the cabinet did not line up. This is totally frustrating. Considering the confusing directions and the non lineup of the holes for the screws, this is a very stylish and functional item.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed something to pu my printer on in my home office. This is not a heavy duty piece of furniture but it will hold a printer and a few files. For the price, it is a steal. Just follow the directions and the assembly is rather easy.

I am very pleased with the cabinet. Everything lined up and it was a pretty easy process. Doing it all by myself, it took about 2 hours or less. Drawers fit perfectly and slide in and out well. Very stable. Just make sure you take your time reading the instructions and dont rush. I would purchase it again.

The building instructions on this item are terrible. There are Very few words and the pictures and arrows are tiny. Even with my progressive lens they arw difficult to see critical aspects of piece you arw supposed to be attaching. It also was completely missing item N (screws) from the assembly item list. The instructions called for item D to be used. No item was labeled with a D. Thankfully I could see that image in the instructions and dedue what it was.Thankfully I live with builders who were able to go and purchase screws (that should have been included) to complete assembly.I am extremely disappointed in the instructions, the assembly difficulty and the fact that critical assembly items were left out of packaging. If I wasn't in such a hurry and in need of my office space done yesterday, I would simply have sent it back! Do better!

Holes are drilled in the wrong place for part 21. Have to drill your own. This added over an hour of build time because I could NOT figure out why my rails weren't lining up the way the illustration said. Finally I realized that the holes are in the wrong place. Front of the rail should be flush with the front of the cabinet, and yet if you do so, none of the holes are usable. Major failure. Plus, drilling into this would have been impossible without an electric screwdriver. Very VERY disappointed with this manufacturer.That being said, you get what you pay for. The assembly was otherwise easy, even if it takes a while. Without the drilling error, I expect it would have taken me (without assistance) about 2 hours. It does recommend in the later steps to have two people, but it's doable alone. I do not recommend assembly without a powered drill handy.It works wonderfully for what I need it for and it looks nice enough. Good option for someone like me who needs basically an extension of their desk space to put a printer, and a filing drawer, with the added bonus of some drawer space for excess materials (ie paper, pens, note cards, etc). Plus the shelves are very stable and strong enough to warrant getting rid of a smaller bookshelf that I no longer needed.The manufacturer needs to reevaluate reselling stock that they know has improperly drilled holes....that is still a major disappointment. And it seems to be luck of the draw if you get one that does. I found only a few reviews that mention this, and I can assure you that this in no way indicates that we assembled the filing cabinet incorrectly.Overall would recommend for a lower-cost (not cheap obviously because it's still over $100) option, if you don't mind possibly needing to improvise and drill your own holes.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked the size, color and options with both shelves and drawers. The color is really nice. There are A LOT of parts to this assembly and very heavy, however it was easy to put together and instructions were easy to follow. Happy with the purchase and quality
