I’ve been searching for a longer RCA cable to replace the original one (black cable in photo) that connected my subwoofer to my Onkyo home theater system. As you can see it’s pretty basic and thin.I finally settled on this Soundfam model and I really wasn’t expecting much. Boy was I surprised.Hers’s what you get :- It’s a little less than 16 ft (about 15’-9”)- Braided- Gold plated 90 degree male connectors on either endIt’s very functional, well built, and durable enough that it can be steeped on, if placed on the ground and covered. The 90 degree connectors are a big help so it doesn’t protrude and bounce/press against the wall (see pic). It fits perfectly, not too tight, definitely not slack and easy to turn and adjust if needed. There is a noticeable improvement in the sound quality. It had a slight hum before (with the old cable), it’s gone now. Also I get a fuller spectrum with the bass.All in all I would say get this Soundfam model. You get value for money and honestly it’s not that expensive, compared to other cables I was looking at with the same advertised quality.

Nice heavy gauge cable

Wire is a little thinner than I like but it handles my 800 Watt Subwoofer without signal loss. Seems to be well made.

These cables are worth every penny if you are coming from stock soundbar cables. The standard cables are cheap and break easily. These on the other hand fit perfectly, don’t distort sound in any way, and are functionally perfect for wall mounted TVs like mine. If you are looking for new cables, look no further!

I like the idea of the long cord for placing my subwoofer in the back of the room for away from the amplifier… Works great!
