I had been taking caprylic acid for about a month to eradicate candida and hopefully help with my allergies and constantly runny nose. After little more than a week, it helped my runny nose a bit and my sense of smell improved, but I read that oregano oil was much stronger than caprylic acid and that you should take them together anyway in order to get rid of candida, which can be stubborn. So I bought this Athina oregano oil and started taking it with the caprylic acid. I chose Athina because it's wild oregano with a high carvacrol content. I'll be candid here because I know explicit details are important to some people, but after I started the oregano oil I had diarrhea for the first 2 days. No cramping, discomfort, illness, or pain or anything, just very watery diarrhea. I assume that was the oregano oil getting rid of the candida/fungus. On the 3rd day it was gone and never came back.Three weeks after adding the oregano oil to caprylic acid (7 weeks total), I've had some amazing and unexpected results. For one, the calluses on my feet are 95% gone which was a complete surprise. The calluses were thick and awful and a years-long constant struggle, but now my feet are like a baby's bottom. It's worth taking the pills just for that. Also, I had a mild case of dandruff which is now gone as well. The oregano also helps with acid reflux and heartburn rather than causing it. It doesn't upset my stomach and I don't burp it up either. No unpleasant side effects. My runny nose and allergies are hanging on though, but it's better than it was. Unfortunately, it has not seemed to help much with my arthritic pain. But I will try it topically for that and report back if I have any success.I've been recommending this oregano oil to friends and family hoping that it helps them, too. Because of it's reasonable price and quick results, it's worth a try.

Repeat customer here! Like another reviewer, I was looking for an oregano oil with high carvacrol content of at least 80%. I did find another less $$$ product, but it doesn't guarantee a high enough carvacrol content. And while I know you should never buy a car or a home or anything for that matter based on color, I LOVE the design on this bottle! So the carvacrol plus the graphics sold me. I also had tried oregano oil mixed in olive oil and water and just found the taste too strong, so this is the perfect solution for me..

I discovered couple of years ago that oregano oil helps to strengthen the immune system and it is also a source of antioxidant. So I was occasionally taking drops deluted in olive oil and it really helped me, for example in the winter I was not getting sick even when everybody at work were affected by cold. But it had too strong taste for me. When I discovered this product containing oregano oil in softgels, already mixed with olive oil, I tried it and it was perfect for me. Conclusion: it is a perfect solution for somebody who wants to use oregano oil, but for whom the taste of the concentrated drops is too strong.

I have been using Athina Oregano Oil for the past 4 years as essential oil in my tea. It is an amazing product that helps my autoimmune system stay strong. I am so happy this product is now coming in softgels as it is easier to use even by people like my partner that finds the essential oil too potent. I swear by this product and I would suggest it to anyone especially to people who safer from colds year after year.
