Absolutely stunning!!! The craftsmanship of this product is more than the price reflects. When I opened this for my boyfriend's birthday I was not expecting how well this was made!The blade was sharp and oiled ! Definitely a must have and a great gift!

Paid around $25, and it's a very useful pizza cutting knife and will probably be great for other foods too. Comfortable, handsome, well made, and sharp. Good purchase. Would make a fine gift as well.

Ease of use and top quality

I bought this for a gift. It was in a carboard box that had a little oil residue in it. The knife was wrapped in a bunch of plastic. After unwrapping, and wiping down, it looked nice. There were no blemishes on the blade or handle. I put it in the sheath, wrapped it in something nicer, and put it in a nicer box. Keep this in mind; you probably wouldn't want Amazon to send it directly to someone as a gift. I imagine at this price range it's not super quality, but fine for chopping veggies and so forth.

I went to Alaska over the summer and I forgot to get somebody a gift. I definitely bought this for them and lied and said I got it in Alaska. It's very high quality, it feels pretty heavy in the hand, the leather feels high quality as well. It came wrapped in plastic and almost dripping in oil, That smelled like fish oil. That was kind of gross but I just wiped it off and let it air out before I gifted it. It's really cool, and pretty dang sharp. The oil was a little unsettling but overall it was very well made and definitely worth the money.

I bought this, along with a curved cutting board because I had almost no use of my right arm for six weeks. I needed to do food prep with one hand. This worked out great for me. The blade is awesome. I use it every day for food prep. I love to slice, chop and dice with it. It came razor sharp and a couple of light passes with a ceramic sharpener keeps the edge shaving sharp. It also makes a great pizza cutter. It is Damascus steel so it can rust. To maintain it, wash it by hand as soon as your done with it and wipe it dry and you will have no problems with rust. Do not put this in the dish washer. It came with a decent leather sheath and I keep it in the sheath to protect the edge and to protect me from accidental contact. The only negative is that the wood to metal fit could be a little better, but that is cosmetic and does not affect the use of the knife in any way. I love this knife and would buy it again.

1. The image shown cutting the pizza is a different product and not what you will receive. While the other pictures are accurate using this as the main image is misleading and gives an incorrect sense of scale2. Only buy this if you are interested in a project axe. It comes with literally no edge or primary grind. It is completely dull and not usable. You'll have put one on yourself.3. Aside from the first two points it seems well crafted and the handle is very nice. Once I've succeeded in getting an actual cutting edge put on it may be a decent tool.
