Can this hardware be used without a subscription as a simple DMX interface for other software?

As of May 2023. They now have a full license! So you do not need a Software subscription for the 2.0 Sound Switch. As soon as I found this out, I bought the software before they changed their minds. I recommend you buy it for $200 (lifetime for the V2.0) it has full features and uses. A year-long subscription is $80 for the same thing

Is it compatible with windows 8??
